 A young lady has been honoured as the best corp member of batch A in Imo state – The corp member received the honour due to the work she did to improve education in the state – She also started a skill acquisition training program for secondary school students in Imo state Governor Rochas Okorocha has honoured a young Nigerian lady identified as Loretta Ebere Umeotawara as the best corp member of batch A in Imo state. The lady received the honour due to her work of impacting knowledge. The lady who graduated from the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state was given the honour on Thursday, April 12. Umeotawara was described as a corp member who worked tirelessly to impact knowledge. NAIJ.com gathered that the lady flagged off a project for the students of St Patrick’s secondary school in Ozara in February 2018. Lady passes out as the best batch A corp member in Imo state l She described the project that lasted for two months as a skill acquisition training project that would enhance the students’ education to help them become independent individuals. The lady who is a native of Anambra state thanked God for giving her the grace to do everything she did to impact knowledge in the state. She further stated that it was by the grace of God that she received the honour as the best corp member. She impacted knowledge She said: “I thank the Almighty God for making this day possible. Giving me the grace and intelligence needed to carry out this project for the good of the youths. I thank Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state and the NYSC leadership for making this reward possible. It’s a good sign that whatever we are doing, eyes are seeing us. I was called to serve, that’s what I just did. She was reportedly promised a job According to Facebook user Elochukwu Nicholas Ohagi, the lady has been promised N200,000 and a job. Ohagi said: “Miss Loretta Ebere Umeotawara is a native of Anambra State and a graduate of Federal polytechnic Oko, also in Anambra State. Apart from 10,000 Naira the governor gave to all the passing out corps member, the Governor also promise her 200,000 Naira cash prize and an instant job. This is a way to go.”
