Confirmation REQUIREMENTS
For B. A. (Ed.), B.Sc. (Ed.) and B. Ed. Degree Programs:
Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with Credit in One or Two other applicable instructing subjects;
"A" Level Passes in GCE/IJMB/NABTEB/JUPEB or its comparable;
ND/OND are additionally acknowledged for chosen courses: Arabic, Christian Studies, History, Human Kinetics, Health Education, Islamic Studies, Computer Science Education, Educational Technology and Technology Education. What's more, a candidate must have no less than five "O" Level credit goes in English Language, Mathematics and three other important subjects (see adverts on the Unilorin Website for points of interest).
For the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) Programs:
A Bachelor's degree from any perceived University with at least Third Class Honors degree is required. Higher National Diploma with no less than an Upper Credit acquired from a perceived Polytechnics or associated Institutions.
For Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Technology (PGDET):
a.)A Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed.; B. A. (Ed.); B.Sc. (Ed.); B. Tech (Ed.) with at least Third Class Honors from the University of Ilorin or a proportional Degree perceived by the Senate of the University of Ilorin.
b.)A Bachelor's Degree (B. A.; B.Sc.; B. Tech) with at least Third Class Honors and Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PDGE) perceived by the Senate of the University.
For M.Ed. Degree Programs:
A decent First Degree in Education with at least Second Class Honors (Lower Division).
A decent First Degree in different controls with at least Second Class Honors (Lower Division) in addition to Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) acquired at Credit Level from a perceived University.
Second rate Class Honor degree in Education with a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Technology (with a Minimum of 60% pass review); worthy for induction into M.Ed. Instructive Technology program as it were.
